Balansae is a popular midground or background plant for any planted aquarium. These plants have a moderate growth rate and will do best in nutrient rich environments with the addition of CO2. This plant prefers to not be moved once it is planted and can be susceptible to melting when disturbed but will usually regrow. All of our plants have been grown submersed to provide the easiest transition possible to your aquarium.

To minimize shipping delays we only ship live plants on Monday and Tuesday. Plant orders placed on Tuesday or later will ship the following week.
If your local area had extreme heat or cold we recommend having your mail held at the post office on the day of arrival. This is free and can be done online or at the post office. That way your plants stay indoors until you pick them up to protect them from the elements.
We do our best to remove any visible hitch hikers from your plants before we ship but it is impossible to be 100% sure that we get everything. If you're concerned about getting any potential hitch hikers we recommend rinsing your plants before adding them to your pond or aquarium.
