Brazilian Pennywort (Hydrocotyle leucocephala)

Ammannia gracilis is a stem plant that can provide a great pop of color to your aquarium.  It is fast growing and will require frequent trimming.  It requires high light and CO2 to show its red and pink colors.  It can do well under medium light as well but might not show as much color.  This plant will also benefit from fertilization and supplemental iron to keep its colors.

Cryptocoryne wendtii green is a slow growing plant that does well in lower light but requires good fertilization.  This plan doesn't require CO2 but it can improve growth and color.  Cryptocoryne wendtii will self propagate through runners once established in the tank.  Cryptocoryne has a tendency to go though leaf melt when it is introduce to a new environment but it will soon regrow its leaves once established.
